Eligible voters can request a mail ballot
- Online: Complete the Mail Ballot Request Form
- In person: Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1435 Water Street, Kelowna
- By phone: 250‑469‑8645
Deadlines: Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Last day to request mail ballots for in‑person pickup.

Mail ballots will be available for pick up at City Hall from October 1 to October 14, 2026.
Return your ballot
Completed ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Oct. 17 to be counted. Return your ballot:
- In person at the Office of the City Clerk, Kelowna City Hall (2nd floor)
- By drop box at City Hall beside the main Water Street entrance
- By mail to: Office of the City Clerk, Kelowna City Hall, 1435 Water Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1J4
Using Canada Post to return your ballot? Plan ahead: the last day for mail delivery is Friday, Oct. 16.
Special Voting
Special voting opportunities are also provided for eligible residents, family members, and staff in some long-term care facilities, in coordination with Interior Health. Special voting will also be offered at Kelowna General Hospital during designated hours on general voting day.
Voting tip
When you vote, only vote for the candidates you want elected. If that is one mayor and five councillors, only put down those names. For council, the top candidates with the most votes are elected, so if you vote for someone that you don't really want elected, that may bump your preferred candidates off the list.
