Personally I have owned EV since 2020, have my home retrofitted with low flush , use electric heat and heat pump.

What are your top priorities for the next 4 years to address climate and environmental goals in Saanich?
Ensure more affordable housing which is accompanied with green space, ensure multiple alternatives to automobile travel
How will you apply a climate lens to all your work with your fellow elected representatives, given competing priorities?
Over the past years Saanich Council has held a lens of social, environmental and affordability up to the projects we consider. We have established plans which I respect and will use every opportunity to encourage council to advance.
How will you provide leadership in moving Saanich towards meaningful climate action?
We have held climate action in all our decisions such as converting municipal fleet to EV, retrofitting our municipal buildings and establishing pro environment purchasing policies.
